9. LOOKING FOR STABILITY

The rapid changes occurring in today's organization are simply a reflection of the rapid change taking place in every phase of modern life. Old assumptions and expectations of reaching a state of "stability" are no longer meaningful. Thus, new paradigms are required in order to make meaning of and help everyone cope with the new realities we face in every aspect of life. Leaders are challenged to adopt new mental models about change and to help staff adjust to the new realities. This program is aimed at offering some concrete teaching approaches to help ease what is often a very unsettling transition, i.e. dealing with instability and constant change.
